1.5 oz Strawberry Basil infused gin (or vodka)

10 basil leaves

2 teaspoons granulated sugar

1 oz lime juice

Tonic water

Garnish with lime wheel

*in a cocktail shaker, place basil leaves and sugar and muddle until sugar is resolved and no large pieced of basil remain — add infused vodka, lime juice, and ice — shake vigorously — fill a double old fashioned glass with ice and strain vodka mixture in and top with tonic water

 

Strawberry Basil Mojito

1.5 oz Strawberry Basil infused white rum

1 oz simple syrup 

0.5 oz lemon juice

3 basil leaves

2 oz soda water

2 dashes of bitters

16 oz apple cider

2 cinnamon sticks

Extra cinnamon stick for garnish

*add apple cider and cinnamon sticks to a pot and heat at a simmer for 30 mins — pour into cup and add bourbon
